Message From Our CEO
Happy New Year from Treasure Coast Community Singers! We are half way through our 15ht season as Your Community Choir. We are thankful for each of you who support us with ticket purchases, donations, advertisement in our program book. We hope that your year is off to a wonderful start and that you are looking forward to the music we will be presenting. There are two Community Concerts and one Classical Concert left. As a regular attendee of our concerts, I’m sure you have been thrilled to see the development of our Youth Choir. They will be sharing the March Concert with the Community Choir by presenting a Children’s Musical for the first half of our concert. Then, since it is St. Patrick’s weekend, we are sing Letters From Ireland. The words to all of the songs are actual letters from Ireland set to music with a bit ‘o the old Irish style. Wear your green! Our May concert with Community Choir, leading into the Memorial Day Weekend, is a patriotic concert.
The Classical Choir will present two settings of Reflection as we present Lux Aeterna (Light Eternal) by Lauridsen and Requiem by John Rutter. Many of our choir members will be traveling to Florence, Italy in June to perform the Requiem with John Rutter conducting. If you are interested in traveling with this group, please let me know very soon of your interest. We can add you to our group before the end of January.
Our Partners remaining for this half of the season are: March 17 – 18 LAHIA (Love and Hope in Action), April 7 – 8 Molly’s House, and May 19 – 20 Hibiscus House. Please share about us with your friends and invite them to attend our concerts.
