TCCS partners with Making Strides Against Breast Cancer to present Sing for the Cause
Joining forces with the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer the Treasure Coast Community Singers will be presenting a concert titled Sing for the Cause on November 11 and 12. Under the direction of Dr Douglas P. Jewett, the Classical Choir along with soloists from Stetson University and a guest narrator will perform a collection of songs and narrations written about or by people who have experienced cancer in their lives. These thought provoking songs and narrations filled with determination, hope, love and humor will certainly bring to life emotions that we all try to hide when cancer in some way touches us.
The concerts will be at the North Stuart Baptist Church, 1950 NW Federal Highway on Saturday, November11 and Sunday, November12 at 3pm. Admission is $20 and both the American Cancer Society and Treasure Coast Community Singers will benefit from the proceeds. Tickets are available on-line through PayPal at www.tccsingers.org; by calling our voicemail 772-224-8807; or at the North Stuart Baptist Church (772-692-1616) Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9am-1pm.
