Treasure Coast Community Singers and Indian River Pops Orchestra join for A Messiah Sing-a-long

Gathering a chorus of singers to perform George Frideric Handel’s Messiah has become a popular holiday tradition for many. Residents of the Treasure Coast are invited to participate in a Messiah sing-along as a singer or audience member with the Treasure Coast Community Singers and the Indian River Pops Orchestra on November 30, 2018, 7:00pm at the Kane Center, 900 SE Salerno Road, Stuart.

In preparation, there will be an organizational first rehearsal for singers on Saturday, October 27, 1-3pm at the North Stuart Baptist Church, 1950 NW Federal Highway. All participants are urged to attend. Additional rehearsals will be held on Saturday November 3 and 10, 10am-noon, at a location to be determined. The final rehearsal will be Tuesday, November 27, 7-8pm, at the Anderson Middle School Band Room.

Members of the audience at the event on November 30 will be invited to join in the singing of the choruses in Part I and the Hallelujah Chorus.
